Rural Cottage.

The new owners of this pretty cottage had completed their redecoration of the sitting room with a warm colour scheme of rust and mustard against a warm cream tone on the walls with a natural wood floor and cosy wood burner.

They requested a painting to reflect the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of the room and the autumnal landscape that surrounded them at the time of their move.

This piece captures the season with atmosphere and the movement of the dried grasses and falling leaves blowing in the swirling autumn winds.
